The Reception
Our Reception class offer children an outstanding environment providing education of the highest quality. A play based curriculum which is an integral part of our reception curriculum. We understand that through directed play, your child can develop and use their own natural curiosity and imagination to learn about the world the live in. They are taught the infant communication skills through circle time (story telling), Nursery rhymes, reading and talking to them. We potty train them and also guide them to colour objects and scribble different patterns of strokes in prepartion for flexibility of the hand muscles that will enhance their willingness and readiness to write.

Other subjects taught at this level include: Social Studies, French, Music, ICT, Health Education, etc. This unique curriculum creates a well-rounded dynamic learning environment and pupils are taught in a manner that allows them to be confident and indepentent learners.
The curriculum also takes into consideration the social, physical, emotional and cultural needs in addition to academic evelopment. the aim is to develop pupils who are knowledgeable, principled, caring, open-minded, well balanced, effective, ready to take educational risks.
